FOND FAREWELL TO STAFF at WCS
This year we bid a fond farewell and happy retirement to Mrs. Weston, Mrs. Lane, Mrs. Friant and Mrs. Simpson who are all retiring after almost 90 years of combined service here at WCS! Each of them have been passionately dedicated to serving our students, staff and the community of Woolwich and for that we will be forever grateful.
I know that each of them have plans to enjoy time with their families and a well deserved break. We will miss them terribly and wish them nothing but the best in their futures!
Did you know studies show that students who do not read over the summer experience a loss in reading skills? That’s why it’s critical for kids to keep reading all summer! Woolwich Central School really wants to support families in their efforts to keep kids reading. You can find summer reading resources posted on the WCS Library website as well as online reading options like Tumblebooks. Also, stayed tuned to our school Facebook page. You'll see familiar faces in book recommendation videos posted throughout the summer!
